Sensation White Amsterdam...
The success story of Dutch dance music events will make the 10th anniversary of its Sensation White Amsterdam Party a weekend event. Usually consisting of a one day event this Sensation party will be the biggest yet. It'll fall on the first weekend in July the 3rd and 4th, I can't wait.
The line up is still not released but people including myself are gearing up for the day tickets go on sale which will be Saturday the 28th of March. The line up is always great and the party is considered one of the best on the world circuit so don't miss out. Tickets start at 69 Euros per night so would make for a awesome weekend party in the Dutch party capital.

Get Ready For Diddy...
P. Diddy will make an apperance at the Miami Winter Music Confrence again this year. Last year he shocked the dance world by putting on a great DJ performance worthy of some of the greats. He is back with house pioneer sidekick Felix Da Housecat to stun again. We already know he has a house music album under construction and near completeion but he has not said when he will allow it be heard. I am sure it will be good and so will his sets this year at the WMC.
Deadmau5 in the Hau5...
Candian superstar DJ Deadmau5 has announced that he will return to the UK to tour this May wih around 10 dates to be confirmed. He has announced already that he will do one of our dance festivals I just don't know which one yet.

Even Rockness Looks Electronic...
This Scottish festival has announced their line up, and even the rock based festivals are getting some of the big electro DJ's on board. They have live acts including The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and Dizzee Rascal.
DJ's Erol Alkan, David Guetta, Orbital, Pete Tong, Zane Low and Rob da Bank are sure to blow party-goers away.
French record label Ed Banger Records will even be there with Busy P, Mehdi, DJ Feadz and Crazy Baldhead. Look out for these guys they rock any party.

Morillo
Eric Morillo played a amazing set at the weekend at Ministry of Sound. A seven hour set that blew the minds of all that went. There was very few turning in for an early night on Sat 14th March as the tunes kept on coming from the magnificent masterful Morillo. A great night and hope any of you that went had a great time and thought the music was as good as me.

Opening Parties Info
The 1st Opening Party looks set to be Pure Pacha on the 29th of May, followed by 30th May Defected in the House at Pacha.
Space opens the Sunday 31st of May. Dc10 looks set to open on the 1st June despite all the trouble it seemed to encounter last year.
Its then a busy week for Pacha with Subliminal and F**k Me Im Famous opening parties the same week run by Eric Morillo and David Guetta respectively.
We Love Space opens on the 15th June with a great line up and is preceded by Cream at Amnesia on the 12th and Laidback Luke's new night Stealth at Pacha on the 9th.

New Tune

Watch This Space...
House music fans all over the world will be looking into and saving up for the annual trip to Ibiza no doubt. The release of the Space Opening Party line-up will get the butterflies fluttering and get everyone more pumped for the summer trip.
18 hours of mayhem beginning at 12 noon features 50 DJ's playing in the 7 different rooms in the club. Wow. It will feature Carl Cox, Sasha and Digweed, 2 Many DJ's, Deadmau5, Tom Novy and Steve Lawler so far but it will announce more top names in the coming weeks.
The only down side is the Euros strength to the struggling pound. At 55 Euros entry that makes it a massive £49.50.

In my opinion the electro top 10 is a bit disappointing with far too much fidget house taking up the spots. Its okay in small doses but it isn't the best form of electro out there at the moment. More electro please people.

As it Breaks...
Here is a sample of the latest track from Aussie Superstar DJ Dirty South. Its called Alamo and is following suit for his latest few releases by being very progressive, not like his early electro tunes. This is a great tune and is gonna be ridiculously massive, I just know. I love this track especially the TV Rock Remix.

Interview with Ministry of Sound Resident Lee Mortimer
I was lucky enough to get chance to catch up with Lee Mortimer and ask a few questions heres the interview in its entirity...Enjoy
As the night approaches some of the most dangerous and sought after people are released into the wild. They hit the nightclubs throughout the world in an attempt to get the clubbing population moving. DJ’s are huge in most parts of the world you venture these days. With a busy Europe wide schedule it was hard to catch up with Lee Mortimer one of the upcoming DJ’s creating waves and turning heads in the industry at the moment. But the self confessed “vampire,” due to the fact that like most DJ’s he “comes out to play at night,” is no newcomer to a turntable.
A cool and very chilled out guy who seems not bothered by anything thrown at him Lee told me of his roots and how he got into mixing music. “I think I was about 11 and used to play around with my Amiga Commodore playing tapes at the same time, that was when I first got into it.” Since then Lee has not looked back having recently just scored a monthly residency spot at the famous ‘superclub’ Ministry of Sound in London. There he will feature on a regular basis alongside some of dance music’s hottest international superstars. He seems delighted with the new opportunity offered to him by Ministry of Sound. “I was honoured to just be considered for Ministry's new resident, but when I actually got it I was over the moon.” He already boasts San Francisco, Chicago and Amsterdam’s Sugar Factory as some of the places he has played at.
Although he tends to go by the name Lee Mortimer when performing he also has the less used alias of Sawtooth Sucka which he sometimes makes songs under the name of. Lee is part of a small group of DJ’s that are branching off beyond all types of electronic music out there at the moment. He is closely following the path carved by others such as the well established Switch and Jesse Rose into the fidget house music world. “Deep down it's about having fun and getting people moving and smiling on the dance floor” says the up and coming star. “You'll hear lots of filthy bass lines and ‘rawkus’ beats. The whole ethos of fidget house for me is its unpredictability, so you better be on your toes. I'm always looking out for new and innovative sounds in the tunes I play and the tracks I make in order to keep things fresh.”
All DJ’s have idols who they believe have had an impact on their life and made them turn to the decks and Lee is no different. It was not until Lee came across a Derrick L Carter CD that he was “hooked.” He claims that the talented Jesse Rose and the Crookers were a big part of him taking up fidget house as well as Switch. “I just loved how they sounded and I wasn’t that far away from them in that sense. I always had my own style and knew how I wanted to sound but the emergence of fidget house helped me discover it sooner.” It was this sound that helped pave his way to the success he is now enduring. He explains how excited he was the first time he heard his song on Radio One. “Everyone who has an interest in dance music tunes in to Pete Tong’s show, it’s huge. When I first heard one of my remixes on there I text messaged everyone in my phonebook to see if they had heard it.” Lee is also getting the thumbs up from Switch the pioneer behind fidget house. In a recent magazine article Switch backs Lee as “one of the most exciting producers and DJ’s in the UK right now” and says about his unique DJ style “I don’t think anyone can touch him for that sound at the moment.”
The Liverpudlian not only DJ’s but he also produces for his very own record label Wearhouse Records as well as his fair share of remixes. Recent remixes include that of megastars Pete Tong and Armand van Helden which is no small feat. He has also started to collaborate with some big names such as Jesse Rose, Diplo and MC Flipside who featured on DJ of the moment Deadmau5’s ‘Hi Friend’. Lee’s record label is new and still gathering pace at the moment but he feels it is not too long before it will be where he wants it. With each release doing better than the last one it is a promising sign that Lee will do well with Wearhouse. Lee feels that having your own record company “helps to raise your profile in the industry.” In smart business fashion Lee echoes “every record released by an artist on my label I always remix it so I always have a presence.” If his record company takes off like his DJ skills have Wearhouse Records will be a great success. He recently got Jesse Rose to produce two songs to release through Wearhouse so things are on the up. With a performance at last year’s Creamfields on the ‘BBC introducing’ stage under his belt already, his new residency at Ministry of Sound and a whole load of DJ sets lined up across the globe in the coming months things can surely only get better for Lee Mortimer. His record company is on the rise and he has a host of tricks up his sleeve, so he is well prepared for whatever 2009 will throw in his direction.

Jack U
This is one of the best tunes we have had for a long time from Felix Da Housecat. One of my all time favourites. I do feel the reason the song is so good is the Swedish remix influence, however, great tune check it out here.

Welcome to March and Morillo Mayhem....
March is all set to be a huge month with some great performances to look out for from some the hottest DJ's. It is also the month of the Winter Music Conference if you fancy the trip to Miami. A couple of stand out sets lined up including the 3-in-a-row 7 hour sets of Danny Howells, Roger Sanchez and Eric Morillo.
I never thought much of Eric Morillo until last years Global Gathering I always classed him with the likes of Carl Cox and Pete Tong in the too commercial category. However that set blew mine and my friends minds and stood out from a good year at Global. I will go to watch Eric anywhere now and the Ministry of Sound seven hour set looks set to be a great night. If its like the last few sets it will be very good electro and a lot of classic remixes to go with it. He's been a huge success in Ibiza with his Subliminal nights and his record label under the same name is going strong.

Still On Top
According to beatport.com the No 1 tune of the week is yet again that of Miles Dyson and Intro. What a great tune and well done Mr Dyson. Hear it here now.
New entries to the top 10 are the dynamic duo of Spencer & Hill returning with another great tune after the success of Right On Time. This is a great song, very deep electric with a lot of range and a very funky drop in at the number 6. So here is the new song Flat listen to it here.
Other new entries include Sidney Samson with his new track Riverside and it sounds like this...Very twisted sound and some may find the track annoying however its quite original and has a good progressive build up to the drop. Nice tune.
Last new entry sees Santiago and Bushido back in the top 10 with their new track Can't Be Wrong. It would seem they can do no wrong. This tune is gonna be huge and is set to climb these beatport charts in no time at all. Great vocals very catchy and tuneful. Does lack bass however and is not as dirty as you would expect from the duo.
